Lithiumstart's customer giving Keynote speech at Electric and Hybrid Marine World Expo 2016
One of Lithiumstart's key end customers for megawatt class ship energy storage systems is the US Navy. The head of the Navy program, Capt. Steve Markle (below right in picture), will be giving a Keynote speech at the Electric and Hybrid Marine World Expo in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. Lithiumstart's CEO Christopher Cook, and COO Rich Schroeder will be attending and available to answer questions after the keynote about commercial applications for shipboard energy storage. Mr. Markle is the Director of the Electric Ships Office for the US Navy, and is spearheading the ESM (Energy Storage Module) program which Lithiumstart is contracted for through DRS Technologies, to enable future capabilities and fuel savings for Navy ships.
The Expo runs Jan 11-13 at the Ft. Lauderdale Convention Center. The Keynote is in the morning session of the first day.
